Senior Photos at Olivet & Perry Farm

It warms my heart when one of my past seniors sends someone my way, and that’s exactly how Briley found me! She came to me through Livia, one of my Class of 2026 seniors. Briley and Livia played softball and volleyball together, so when Briley’s mom reached out this summer about senior photos, I was already so excited to meet her.

Briley wanted to get her first senior session in before the school year started, and we had the prettiest evening for it! She knew she wanted a couple of different looks for her photos, including something a little more formal with a beautiful building and another look surrounded by flowers. We talked through some location options and landed on Olivet’s administration building and Perry Farm, which ended up being the perfect combination for her vision.

We started at Olivet’s administration building for that more polished, formal look. The architecture gave her photos a classic feel while still allowing Briley’s personality to shine through. Then we headed over to Perry Farm, where the wildflowers were showing off in the best possible way. The flowers were gorgeous, the light was beautiful, and it was one of those summer evenings that makes you want to stay outside forever.

And can we talk about how sweet Briley is?! She has the kindest personality and was such a joy to photograph. I have a feeling I’m not the only one who got a little emotional seeing her in these photos. Senior year has a funny way of sneaking up on parents! Watching your daughter step in front of the camera for the first time as a senior makes it all feel very real.

I’m so thankful Livia’s family sent Briley my way and that I got to be part of this little piece of her senior year. We’ve already got another session planned for the spring when we’ll get to document Briley doing what she loves on the softball and volleyball fields… I absolutely cannot wait!

Class of 2027, you’re off to a pretty great start. Here’s to a wonderful senior year, Briley!
