St James Farm Engagement Session

I had so much fun at Jillian and Ryan’s St James Farm engagement session this past winter getting to know them. While the weather was quite cold, that winter light is just dreamy.

I briefly met these two when they were helping out at Collin & Jessica‘s wedding this past fall. I love when couples find me through wedding days because chances are if I loved working with your friends, I’m going to love working with you too. So when they contacted me about photographing their summer wedding at the lovely Wilder Mansion, I was so excited that I was available.

We booked their session at St James Farm because it is a place they had been and loved. I have been here once before for a session and love the variety you can get in this one location. We worked quickly so that Jillian didn’t freeze, and got such a great variety. My favorites of them are all of their laughing photos. These two are so sweet and fun. I can’t wait until their wedding day later this month.
