I love looking at photo albums! I remember spending countless hours surrounded in albums and prints from years and years of my family history. I can still remember the smell of the prints and the feel of those album pages in my tiny hands. I would ask my mom over and over who those people were and how they were related to me. I think that’s where my love for photography was born. It gave me a sense of identity, of belonging to something much bigger than me.
