Naples Beach Proposal in Southwest Florida

I may be a Midwest girl through and through, but give me any reason to hop on a plane and photograph love stories in beautiful places, and I’m there in a heartbeat. And SW Florida? It has my heart every time. So when Zach reached out about capturing his proposal to Madi on Naples Beach, it was the easiest yes!

Zach is a talented videographer and photographer in SW Florida, and he found me through Google and social media. From the very first message, I could feel how excited he was. And when he told me about Madi (a dancer and dance teacher), I knew this moment was going to be something special.

We planned for weeks. The logistics, the timing, the perfect spot on the beach… Even how he was going to get Madi into the dress she hoped to be proposed to in without her catching on. Meanwhile, both sets of parents secretly flew in from out of state and hid just down the beach at a nearby access point. Truly, the commitment and details that went into this surprise were unmatched!

The evening of the proposal, Naples spoiled us with the most perfect weather and a dreamy sunset. I tucked myself behind some beachy plants up the shore where Madi wouldn’t see me, and thankfully there was a clear patch of sand right in front of me without any people.

Zach walked her right to the spot. He knew exactly where to stop. And then, the big moment! Madi’s expressions were absolutely priceless. She was filled with pure joy, surprise, and love all wrapped into one. And of course, she said yes! She later told me she already had the whole wedding planned in her head. I love it!

She Said Yes!

Just when she thought the surprises were over, their parents came walking up the beach. Shock all over again! One of my favorite photos from the whole evening is Zach and Madi hugging while their parents are behind them embracing each other. It was the sweetest moment!

Zach and Madi, your Naples Beach proposal was incredible. I’ll never forget the joy of this night spent with you two… The sunset, the surprises, and the beginning of a new chapter for you two. Thank you for trusting me with such a beautiful part of your love story!
