Milwaukee Lakefront Engagement Session

Meet Megan & Nate! There is something so special about photographing a couple in a place they love, and Megan and Nate chose the perfect spot along Lake Michigan in Milwaukee! We met at the boat ramp near South Shore Terrace and started their session with photos around the park… All while trying to politely dodge a very enthusiastic running club that happened to be out that evening. It added a fun burst of energy to the start of the session and set the tone for a night filled with laughter! 

Megan and Nate are playful, joyful, and so easy to be around. From the very first moment, you can feel how much fun they have together and how naturally they fit together. They wanted photos along the lake with the Milwaukee skyline behind them, and the city did not disappoint. As the sun set, the sky turned into the most dreamy colors, and we took full advantage of it.

After a quick outfit change, we wandered toward the docks and the beach. The light was golden, the boats in the distance glowed, and the entire scene felt like it existed just for them. Some of my favorite images came from those last few minutes of sunset… When Megan and Nate were completely in their element, laughing, playing, and soaking in every moment together.

Megan and Nate, thank you for inviting me to your beautiful city and for making this session such a joy. I loved getting to know you and capturing your love in a place that means so much to both of you. I cannot wait for what comes next in your story!
