Maravela’s Fox Lake Wedding

Fox Lake, Illinois

Valeria and Israel’s St Joseph Catholic Church and Maravela’s Fox Lake wedding was a beautiful celebration of this couple and their sweet family. The weather was perfect for a fall wedding in northern Illinois, and the leaves were just starting to change.

Val and Israel have three of the cutest little boys, and I had so much fun watching them be little gentleman during the wedding and photos. When I arrived on the wedding day to the house where Valeria was getting ready, the house was buzzing with excitement. With little ones happily running around and the hair and makeup team hard at work on the ladies, it was such a fun atmosphere. We were able to do a few photos in the beautiful backyard before heading to the church for the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, we headed to nearby Nippersink Forest Preserve for some photos of the couple. I loved the trees, the lake, and the beautiful light we had! It was the perfect spot for photos. After that we headed to Maravela’s for the reception, complete with a mariachi band to set the mood for the celebration to continue.

Valeria and Israel, I pray the best for you, your marriage, and your sweet family. It was an honor to get to know you and photograph this special day.
