This sweet couple’s Camp Aramoni Engagement session was so much fun! When Monica and Jake said they enjoy being outdoors and wanted their portraits to reflect that, I just knew that this new venue would be the perfect location. Nestled in the woods near Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks, this new luxury campground and event venue is full of character and rustic charm. While I could go on and on about this location and how perfect it was for Monica & Jake’s session, I will instead tell you a little bit about this sweet couple.
Monica & Jake met at a concert through mutual friends. Their first date was mini golfing and out for frozen yogurt. That sounds like a perfect sweet and simple first date to me.
Monica and Jake were heading to Tennessee for a family vacation with Jake’s family. The couple arrived a few days ahead of everyone else and Jake propose at the cabin in the Tennessee mountains right before they headed out for dinner.
“Somewhere with no kids, a beach, and a drink in our hands.”
Monica & Jake are getting married at the super cute Northfork Farm in Oswego in May.
Monica and Jake, I cannot wait for your wedding day!
