Greetings and Happy New Year!

I am so glad you landed here on my photography blog. This is a new endeavor for me and combines my passion for photography with my love for writing. What I hope to share here with you will primarily be stories and beautiful images from sessions with my amazing clients. I want to give my clients a place to send their friends and family to see a variety of images from their time with me and give readers a sense of what it is like to book a session or wedding with Karen Shoufler Photography.

I will also mix in a few posts here and there that will give you a little glimpse into my life. With five children in our home, there is always something fun to capture and document! My hope is that by sharing these glimpses of our real, messy, joy-filled life with you, that you will be inspired to document the little and big moments in your own life. It’s easy to think that those moments will be forever cemented in our minds. Instead, years down the road, we struggle to remember the little details and moments that meant so much to us. Those are the times when pictures help us to remember the fingerprints on the windows, the smell of Grandma’s house on Thanksgiving or the awkward teenager heading to his first dance. These are the pictures you will cherish years down the road.
