Last fall, I had the opportunity to second shoot at gorgeous wedding at the Kickapoo Creek Winery in Edwards, near Peoria, IL with Mary of Vivid Imagenation Photography. Rafael & Kayla were married on a beautiful fall day and the grapevines were a stunning backdrop for so many of the portraits. The winery has a beautiful even space for receptions, as well at a tent for outdoor receptions.

Kayla and Rafael got ready in the Hospitality Room at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Peoria. I had the job of capturing Rafael and his groomsmen getting ready. They were such a great group of guys! Rafael has such a welcoming personality and a great smile.

I loved that they had their grandmothers be the flower girls! They sprinkled dried lavender down the aisle, which smelled amazing.

The ring bearers were adorable! They were so proud to have their pictures taken.

The winery has some great locations for sunset photos as well. We had a chance to take them out during golden hour into the vineyard. I love pulling the newlyweds out for a few moments alone during the reception. It gives them a chance to get out of the crowd for a bit and just soak up the day.
