Track & Cheer Senior Photo Session

Some senior sessions are special, and then some feel like a full circle moment for your heart!

After photographing Blake’s senior basketball session in the Williamsville High School gym, it was time to celebrate his twin sister. And getting to create these senior photos for my niece Isabelle before she graduated? Truly the greatest honor.

If you read about Blake’s session, you already know how much this family means to me. Photographing both of them during such a milestone season felt incredibly sentimental. Same graduating class. Same high school halls. Two completely different personalities and passions. And that is exactly what I love most about senior photography.

Senior photos should never be cookie-cutter. They should feel true to you. Isabelle’s session is the perfect example of that!

She ran track all four years at Williamsville High School and was also a football cheerleader. Track was such a huge part of her high school experience. She ran the 200m, 400m, and both relays at those distances. During her senior year, she advanced all the way to the 2A state championships in Charleston, Illinois in the 400m – so proud! You better believe we made sure those medals had their moment in front of my camera!

We dreamed up a session that honored both sides of her high school story. The speed and determination of running track along with the spirit and energy of cheer. We incorporated her uniform, her medals, the track itself, and created images that feel strong, confident, and completely her. Just Isabelle, celebrating what she poured her heart into for four years of high school!

That is what I want for every senior. Your photos should reflect what mattered to you in this season. Maybe it is athletics. Maybe it is theater, FFA, music, or something totally outside of school. Whatever it is, we can dream up a session that tells your story in a way that feels authentic and joyful.

As her aunt, it was emotional watching Isabelle step into this milestone. As her photographer, it was so much fun to create images that capture her strength, her beauty, and that bright, joyful spirit she brings to everything she does.

Seeing Blake and Isabelle’s sessions side by side makes me smile so big. Same family. Same graduating class. Completely unique stories. 

Isabelle, I am so proud of you! Thank you for letting me capture this season before you stepped into your next adventure. These photos will always remind us of the girl who ran her heart out, cheered on Friday nights, and collected more medals than she knows what to do with.
