Summer Wedding Day at Coast

If you’ve been around the blog for a while, you probably remember Megan and Nate from their dreamy Milwaukee engagement session. Fast forward to their wedding day… Truly one of my favorites ever. I’m still smiling thinking about it!

I loved being back in Milwaukee for their celebration, and wow, these two chose the most stunning setting. Between the coastal decor, the water, and the iconic architecture of the Milwaukee Art Museum, it felt like stepping into a magazine spread. Add in the sweetest couple, a colorful mix of bridesmaids dresses, gorgeous florals, and the most fun dessert bar complete with a cookie cake, and you’ve got a wedding day I’ll never forget.

Celebrating Megan & Nate in Milwaukee

Megan and Nate chose to host their wedding day at Coast in Milwaukee. It was my first time at the venue, and I hope to be back! Coast in Milwaukee has two ceremony locations along Lake Michigan. Megan and Nate chose the space overlooking the water. It was the perfect end-of-summer day with a cool breeze drifting in off the lake and a cotton candy sunset painting the sky. Truly magical!

And the special moments, oh my heart! This wedding day had all the first looks. A reveal with Megan’s bridesmaids. A first look with her dad that had everyone tearing up. And Megan and Nate’s own first look. It was one of those moments where I’m smiling behind my camera while simultaneously fighting back tears. Their love is so sweet!

The pastel color palette they chose tied everything together beautifully. It was soft, summery, and full of joy – a true reflection of Megan and Nate. Every detail felt intentional and effortless, and photographing it all was such a joy!

From the incredible dinner food stations to the lakeside views at Coast to a dance floor full of people who adore these two, this day was everything a summer wedding should be. Megan and Nate, thank you for inviting me into your story. What an honor it was to celebrate you!
