I am so excited to share Morgan and Duke’s Downtown Kankakee engagement session from this past fall. Morgan owns the cutest boutique in the area, and I knew she was going to show up with the cutest outfits for their session! I loved their classic black and white looks with the backdrops they chose at Olivet Nazarene University, downtown Kankakee, and a local rooftop to finish off the night. Here are a few of my favorites and some of the answer to their “get to know us” questions.

How They Met & They’re First Date

Morgan and Duke met in college at a beer breakfast through some mutual friends. They were friends long before they started dating. Their first date was to a local bar and grill in their college town about a year later.

Favorite Dates or Things to Do Together

“Something involving food for sure!! We love finding new restaurants to try, especially when we go on vacation.”

Morgan & Duke also love riding the 4-wheeler and golf cart around his parents’ property, exploring new restaurants and shops on vacations, and showing Duke’s horse, Bolt.

Where Would You Like to Travel

Morgan wants to go to Italy, Greece, Spain, Ireland. Duke wants to visit Greece as well!

What’s Something You are Both Passionate About?

“Not working for someone else.” Morgan and Duke are both entrepreneurs and own their own businesses.

What are You Most Excited About for Your Wedding Day?

Morgan: “I cannot wait to feel like a princess. I also can’t wait to see it all come together. Duke can’t wait to party with the guests.”
