I am so excited to finally share Rachel & Trent’s fall Chicago Museum Campus engagement session with you! Fall colors seemed so late this year, but who needs fall color when you have the beauty of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. These two were so fun to hang out with because their joy is so infectious! We talked about a cappella groups, their jobs in virtual events, and planning a wedding during a pandemic. Get to know them a bit and see an overload of my favorite photos from their engagement portraits below.
They first met at Northern Illinois University when Trent asked Rachel’s a cappella group to open for his group’s end of year concert. (And, no, Rachel, that’s not nerdy at all! I find it super cute!) They lost touch, reconnecting a few months later where they went on a few dates only to go their separate ways the following year. Thankfully, they reconnected again during Rachel’s senior year and have been together since.
Rachel & Trent 1.0 went to dinner and a movie.
Rachel & Trent 2.0 went to Wrigleyville and then watched the Navy Pier fireworks from Montrose Harbor.
Rachel was on vacation in Las Vegas with her mom and godmother. They had reservations at their favorite place, The Bar at Times Square. Little did Rachel know that her mom and godmother were in on a little surprise. During dinner, one of the piano guys dedicated “Simply the Best” to Rachel when Trent popped out of nowhere and proposed. He has flown across the country to surprise her with the best, most unexpected proposal!
Rachel says, “I can’t wait to see Trent at the end of the aisle and to dance the night away with our guests.”
Trent says, “I can’t wait to see her in her dress and to celebrate us with our friends and family.”
Rachel & Trent, I cannot wait until your wedding day at The Bridge Lemont!
