Maternity BVM Church & Will County Fairgrounds Wedding

Bourbonnais & Peotone, Illinois

Callie & Tony’s fall Kankakee County wedding was the perfect ending to my wedding season this year. Callie wanted fall colors and boy, did she get them!

I met up with the couple and the wedding party at Maternity BVM Church in Bourbonnais on the most beautiful fall day. The girls had all gotten ready before arriving at the church, but Callie got into her dress there with the help of her mom. Just before the ceremony, Callie did a first look with her dad, which was so sweet and emotional. I loved the look in her eyes when her dad told her how beautiful she looked.

As Callie walked down the aisle with her dad, Tony was trying to hold back tears. It was so sweet that I had tears in my own eyes as well. (If you know me, you know this is not atypical of me on a wedding day.)

Following the ceremony, I got to hang out with their family as we did family portraits inside the church and on the nearby campus of Olivet Nazarene University. Callie then wanted to head to Perry Farm for photos with the fall colors, which was the perfect backdrop for the photos of her dreams. The wedding party came along and were so much fun. After photographing all of the necessary group photos, I walked around with the newlyweds where they got to enjoy each other and get some beautiful photos.

After photos, we headed to the reception. Their friends and family sure know how to celebrate! I had a blast photographing all of the typical reception events and some fun dancing before I headed out for the night.
