Fort Myers Beach Engagement Session

Sunrise sessions on the beach are one of my absolute favorite things and this Fort Myers Beach engagement session for Anthony and Erin was the best! The beach is much less crowded than at sunset, but you can still have beautiful light depending on the direction of the rising sun.

I was so excited to be able to photography Anthony and Erin’s engagement photos for them last month when I was in the area for a bunch of sessions. I met Erin a few years ago when a past bride of mine connected us. While I’m so sad I’m not available to photograph their wedding this fall, I’m so glad it worked out to do their engagement photos for them.

I met up with them near the pier at Fort Myers Beach. I love shooting near the pier and using the lines of the pier for visual interest. I also love this area because the beach, water, beach grasses and buildings all look great in photos. Anthony also works right on the beach, so it was fun to be able to photograph them in a meaningful place to them.
