Fall Engagement Session at Museum Campus & Lakeshore

Poornima and Sumit had the most gorgeous weather for their fall Chicago lakeshore engagement session. After a few reschedules due to Covid, of course, and a little repair delay on Poornima’s engagement ring, we finally got to meet up at the museum campus for their session.

I love the Field Museum for a backdrop, especially now that it’s generally pretty quiet around there. The steps, the light colored stone of the building, and the beautiful landscaping make a perfect spot for photos. It’s also very close to the walking path along the Lake Michigan shoreline with a stunning view of the Chicago skyline.

Walking around, getting to know this fun couple was a blast. Even though they met in Chicago, it didn’t take long to find out that Sumit was born in the city Poornima calls her hometown in Ohio and their parents have a lot of mutual friends. That is going to make their wedding celebration that much more fun!

Their wedding plans have hit a few bumps along the way, just like most couples this year, but they are looking forward to their celebration next year. After talking with them about their plans, I know it’s going to be breathtaking and full of color!
