Vince and Nicole got married at the Patrician Banquet Hall in Schererville, Indiana on the hottest day of the year. Nicole had her heart set on getting married outside, but the heat index was just too intense. Instead, they had a beautiful ceremony inside surrounded by their family and friends. We managed to get outside a few times for portraits and I have no idea how Nicole continued to look flawless in the heat of the day.

We started the day in the bridal suite with Nicole and her closest friends. Everyone was so relaxed and having a great time. I loved how they all reacted when Nicole put on her dress.

Nicole and Vince had decided on a first look, so we found some shade for the couple to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. We took a few portraits before heading back inside to cool off. I just loved how Vince looked at Nicole all day. You could tell he was smitten with her and so excited to make her his wife.

This bridal party gets bonus points for getting outside and not complaining about the heat. We worked quickly, but they were all so kind and willing to sweat a bit to get the photos.
