Alex and Bekah met at the Chicago Bears Camp at Olivet Nazarene University in the fall of 2012 where they were both serving on the parking team. After a couple years of dating, Alex planned a sweet proposal at Lincoln Park Flower Garden in Chicago. He knew that since Bekah loves taking pictures, that it would be important to her to have pictures of the proposal. Alex’s best friend Kyle was hiding out with a camera ready to document the moment.  I met with Bekah and her sister a few weeks later to discuss photographing their engagement session and wedding day.

Alex and Bekah braved the freezing Illinois weather to get some adorable winter snow shots for their engagement session. We visited Olivet to start our session, which is also where the couple will have their wedding reception. They were getting cold, so we hopped in our vehicles to warm up and headed to this quaint park close by for just a few more.

This sweet couple will be married along the river at the state park surrounded by their many friends and family. Their reception will follow at the Warming House at the college. The most important thing to them on their special day is to just relax and spend the day celebrating with the ones they love. I am so excited to capture their special day this  June.
