What do I say about this girl? Summer is such a joy to our family and to so many others, I’m sure! She’s my daughter’s best friend and acts as our 6th daughter. She spends a lot of time at our house and went with us to Florida on a fun girls’ week this past summer.
Summer is a senior at WCHS, where she is involved in golf, basketball and softball. She plans to attend a college where she can continue playing sports. She is enrolled through the high school at our local junior college where she’s earning dual credits.
I can’t wait to see what she ends up doing next year, but I honestly hope she’s not too far away. 🙂
I met up with Summer and her mom on a very hot fall evening. It was so hot that she could only wear her fall clothes for shooting inside the library. She loves to read, so we had some fun inside our public library for the start of her session. I love the variety we got while we were shooting. We had to incorporate a little basketball into the session, kicking the kids off of the basketball court in the park. Thankfully, they were more than happy to stand by for a second and watch Summer rock that portion of her session. I am sure those young boys were impressed by Summer’s muscles. 🙂
We ended the session just before sunset at a private location outside of town. The bridge, the trees, the flowers, were just perfect.
Summer, thanks for letting me do the honor of taking your senior pictures. Best of wishes to you this year!
