Melanie and Casey were the winners of the first ever Anniversary Session! I was thrilled when they won because I knew they’d be fun to work with. Melanie owns Bliss, one of the local bridal shops that my oldest daughter has modeled for a few times. I love her spunk and work ethic so much.

Melanie and Casey went on their first date to Olive Garden, where they sat at talked for hours. Melanie says she knew by the end of that date that there would be a second  one. They fell in love and were married in May of 2012 in Cozumel, Mexico.

This fun couple loves betting on the horse races and say that’s their favorite date night. They also LOVE vacationing to the beach, especially Cozumel. In fact, as they talked about how much they love it there during their session, I marked that down as a bucket list place to visit. It sounds amazing!

Melanie loves that Casey is such a hard worker, taking pride in everything he does. She says the hardest thing about marriage is balancing work and family time. She says the best thing about marriage is their amazing family!

Casey loves that Melanie is a hard worker and strong-willed. He says the best thing about marriage is being with someone you love.

My favorite thing about this entire session was the way Casey looks at his wife!! It gave me all the feels! At the end of our session, Casey said, “That wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I actually had a good time!”
