Shooting in new places always gets my creative juices flowing. I was so excited when Ambria’s mom contacted me about doing her senior session in Chicago! She didn’t want her pictures taken in the same places around her hometown that all her classmates had gone. We scouted around different places and decided on the Lincoln Park Conservatory in downtown Chicago. Located near the Lincoln Park Zoo, the conservatory has a gorgeous view of the Chicago skyline and beautiful architecture, flowers and water.

We met on a chilly, windy spring day, which is pretty typical for Chicago. I actually love having the wind for sessions, because it creates some great movement with hair and clothes. Ambria rocked her session! She knew what she wanted and was up for anything I suggested.
