Abby & Jeff found me through on of Abby’s many cousins, who went to the same high school as I did. I’m always thrilled when brides find me through a referral, so the first thing I did was to send that cousin a referral gift from me . . . a date night with dinner and a movie on me!

Once Abby and I started corresponding, I knew that we were going to be a good fit. She and Jeff value family and friends, and they want that to be a priority on the wedding day and in photographs. As we began discussing where their engagement session could take place, I encouraged them to think of locations that mean something to them. They chose the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis. I had never heard of this neighborhood before, but after some quick Google searching, I was thrilled to shoot there.

Broad Ripple is full of the cutest, unique businesses and restaurants, most of which are set up in houses. I could walk around this place for hours. Abby just sold her house in the area and also works here, so it was a great choice for their session. After walking around for a while, we ended up at Cake Bake for dessert. Abby & Jeff chose the Raspberry Champagne Cake, and we found the cutest “LOVE” picnic table for them to eat their dessert.

We finished up their session at Broad Ripple Park along the White River. These two were so cute through all of their session. You can tell they love to joke around and have fun! I can imagine that their family and friends are the same way. Abby & Jeff, I can’t wait until your wedding day!
