I always love photographing weddings for people I know. It’s just a blast to be able to spend the day with them and be a part of the celebration. Evan and Jessica were the first ones to book their wedding with me when I officially launched my business. At that time, it seemed like their wedding day was so far away! Now it’s over, and they are husband and wife!

I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session last fall. We had such a great time on the farms where they grew up, just a few miles apart from one another. And Jessica’s ring! Well, let’s just say I have more ring shots of her ring than any other! This shot even won an award. 🙂 Yes, it’s that gorgeous!

This couple had the perfect wedding day for their midwest wedding! The sun was shining, but it wasn’t too hot. Everyone was so helpful and happy! My favorite shots from this wedding are all of the genuine candid moments I got that were filled with so much joy and emotion! I truly love getting to hang out with the bride and her girls before the wedding. It’s a great way to get to know them a little and get pictures of all the fun details.

I just love big, old country churches. This Catholic church was just gorgeous! I could have spent hours in there just photographing the architecture and details of the building.

My nephew and his wife were a part of the bridal party, which was tons of fun. Most of the bridal party was from the couple’s hometown or were relatives, so they all knew each other VERY well.

The reception was held at Quality Inn & Suites in Bradley, Illinois. The details were simple, yet stunning. I loved the popcorn bar especially. 🙂

Evan & Jessica decided to head to Jessica’s family farm for their pictures. We got there at the perfect time of day. Jessica’s dress was so timeless and classy that I had to take several pictures to show it off.
